Staples like Bluetooth, HSPA 3G mobile internet and GPS are all expected in a modern smartphone, but including NFC in the Lumia 620 wins Nokia a fistful of tech brownie points. Although the NFC is in its infancy in terms of mainstream adoption, it’s an important element of the future-proofing of this phone.
NFC stands for Near-Field Communication and lets devices communicate wirelessly over short distances. The most attention-grabbing use of NFC is in making payments on the high street without a credit card, but it can also be used to transmit information between devices. Windows Marketplace even offers a section in its app store showing off NFC-based apps.
All the Nokia Lumia 620 misses out on is 4G. And such a connection won’t be much use in a budget phone for at least a year.
Personally I find this phone as a perfect gadget to have for around 13.5k range...Add to it the service of nokia , a peace of mind...And something new than android.... yes, windows phone 8 has been a revelation in phone OS.... Its cool and hang free almost....
The camera of this phone is very good , better than most androids nowadays..... also the music quality is good... The screen may be a little smaller for some people looking for androids, but I think it just perfect to carry....Good solid build quality and good hardware, Yes, 512mb ram is more than enough for windows 8 unlike androids, and dual core processor is smooth... also it has adreno 305 graphics processor, which plays all games smooth and lag free...
